Rock Sound’s Banyan Tree Burns
On Saturday the 3rd of May the much loved Banyan tree at the Rock Sound Farm burned in a bush fire that swept through the fields. The Tarpum Bay and Govenor’s Harbour firemen probably saved the nearby houses by bringing the fire under control. While there are still live embers and small smoldering fires through the wood there is no further threat of uncontrolled fire.
